The sun is shining, spring is in the air (just about!) and it’s a great time to work on growing your business. I have said this before but I’ll say it again…from January to June is the best time to make significant progress in moving your business forward as key business decisions tail off from July-September, and then before you know it we are entering the Christmas slow down. This means we have 3 months left to really make things happen.
The time has come to dust off the plan you made for the year back in January and see how well you are sticking to it. In fact re-do it as you probably haven’t quite managed to achieve some of the goals you had written in for the 1st three months of the year. As you re-do it please remember that you need to make most of the progress for the rest of 2013 in these next 3 months if you are to hit your growth targets by the end of the year.

With Spring upon us and that sense of new life that comes with it this is a great time to reinvigorate your business growth plans and get focused on the next 3 months. What have you found difficult so far this year? What has kept you from hitting your targets? Could you have managed your time better? Are you marketing your services/products to your ideal clients? What new testimonials can you get to help you market your business? What new marketing channels can you implement to help you grow?
Don’t let yourself feel overwhelmed by the targets you have just set. Instead just focus on the individual steps you need to take to get you nearer to your goals. Remember you hold the key to achieving your business success because the only barriers that exist to achieving your goals are the ones you are putting up yourself. This may seem harsh but if you think really hard about what you need to achieve you’ll find you can identify ways to make it happen. You have the power!
